I was asking him to be a guest on our Linux Outlaws podcast as I know he's a tech fan, only sent it about 2 hours ago. Never expected a reply to be honest but figured it was worth a shot, he sent a lovely reply saying he was a bit busy over Christmas but he'd be interested in the New Year, maybe end of January... I'm gobsmacked. What a nice guy :)
Dan this is good stuff. I've been reading his blog and stuff in The Guardian. What I've always enjoyed about him is he likes his Apple gear. He likes open source. He just seems to like what makes his computing experience the most interesting, effective and fun. Kudos

You know I'm going to use any flimsy excuse to bring this up in conversation now... "did somebody mention email? Funny you should say that cos I had an interesting email the other day..." LOL
That's awesome. @dantheman, if I was you, I would have custom bed linen made up with the letter printed all over it in a tiled pattern - including the pillows.
@dzakstar No, I doubt he has but I gave him all the details so he might have been to check out the site and you just never know. He said to email him again at the end of Jan which I thought was very nice, I will do that and see how we do. I was just pleased he replied to be honest and I made an awful pun about our listener base being "small fry" (cringe) :D
@neil Nice idea I was already printing t-shirts but the bed sheet thing is quite a good idea, imagine the chat up lines "... and if you get really bored you could always read my email from Stephen Fry" I'm sure that would be a winner ha ha :P
